Supervision Services

I offer supervision for hypnotherapists who need support with individual case, or who want general advice and encouragement. I also provide advice on growing your business, marketing and other business aspects of a hypnotherapy business.

I provide pay-as-you-go supervision to help you apply your hypnotherapy skills and improve your marketing. Book one-to-one or group sessions as you need them.

At the current time, all supervision sessions will be conducted online over Zoom.

I publish an occasional newsletter, informing you about updates to the group supervision dates, and including useful articles, videos etc that I have come across.

About Me

I am a qualified hypnotherapy supervisor and have been running a successful hypnotherapy business in Fleet (Hampshire) since 2020.

I developed my interest in hypnotherapy after studying NLP at various NLP schools (gaining a variety of NLP qualifications). I have been using these NLP skills on myself and others for some twenty years.

In my previous career as an IT consultant, I spent a significant part of my time in marketing. I now use the principles of marketing that I learnt to attract clients to my hypnotherapy business.

How does PAYG supervision work?

Supervision sessions are pay-as-you-go. There are no contracts or standing orders to set up. Just book a slot for a one-to-one or a group session. Have your credit card ready and pay when you book.

Group sessions are advertised a month or so in advance. Currently, these will be two hours sessions on a Sunday morning.

One-to-one session slots are advertised in the previous week. These are half an hour and will be held at various times on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays when I have time available. You will have to check what slots are available each week.

(If there is a demand for one-hour one-to-one sessions, I will add those into the mix. For present, I am not offering them.)

How much will I have to pay?

• Half-hour one-to-one session – £30
• Two-hour group session – £25

What should I expect in a one-to-one session?

The agenda is set by you. You may have specific cases to discuss; you may want to have a general review of your case load; you may want to discuss marketing and business improvement; or you may have other questions. Before we start the session, ask yourself: what do I want to get out of this session?

What should I expect in a group session?

I will be asking each member of the group to bring something to discuss: one of their cases, something that they don’t understand, something they have done that they a pleased about, or whatever else is relevant. The emphasis will be on discussion in the group rather than question and answers. So be prepared to participate and join in.

Professional Body Supervision Requirements

All professional hypnotherapy bodies require hypnotherapists, no matter how experienced, to have supervision. Supervisors are experienced hypnotherapists who have a Hypnotherapy Supervisor qualification.

Each of the professional bodies requires hypnotherapists to have at least a minimum number of hours of supervision per year, normally six or more. This may be provided by one supervisor or split between several supervisors.

Each year, the professional bodies audit a random selection of their members in order to check that they are meeting their minimum supervision requirements. I keep a record of every supervision I conduct so that I can support supervisees by verifying their own supervision records if they are audited.
