Simple, Clear Steps to Moving Forward
Here is exactly what happens when you contact me:
Step 1: The Initial Call (10–15 Minutes)
Fill in the brief contact form at the bottom of this page, and I will call you back as soon as I can. We’ll have a gentle, informal chat about what you’re experiencing. I’ll explain how hypnotherapy can help, answer any questions you might have, and give you my honest opinion — with no pressure and no obligation to book.
Step 2: Tailored Therapy in a Safe Space

If you decide to proceed, we’ll work together in my clinic in Fleet (or online from your home, if that is more practical). Over a short series of weekly, one-hour sessions, we will talk together and use hypnosis to gently work with your subconscious mind to soothe your nervous system. I will focus only on what you want to achieve, so that you remain in complete control at all times.
Step 3: End Therapy When You Are Ready
Whenever you feel you have achieved what you want to achieve, you can finish the sessions with me. You can then step back into your daily life feeling calmer, more grounded, and back in charge. It will be my goal to help you to get to a place where you no longer need me and can move on with a calmer life on your own.
Why Anxiety Feels So Overwhelming—and How Hypnotherapy Helps

If you are living with constant anxiety, you may feel frustrated with yourself, wondering why you can’t simply “think your way out of it”. You may be fed up with other people telling you to “just relax”.
The truth is, anxiety isn’t a sign of weakness or personal failure. It is an overprotective survival response rooted deep within your nervous system.
The Subconscious Stress Response
When you experience anxiety—whether as sudden panic attacks, persistent daily dread, or racing “what-if” thoughts—your subconscious mind believes it is protecting you from a threat. It activates your body’s fight-or-flight mechanism, flooding your system with stress hormones.
Because this response operates at a subconscious level, logical thinking and willpower alone often aren’t enough to switch it off. You can know (logically) that you are safe at home, at work or in a social setting, while your body and subconscious mind continue to react as if you are in immediate danger.
How Solution Focused Hypnotherapy Creates Real Change
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy works by helping your fight-or-flight response to accept that there is no real danger. It leads your subconscious into understanding that you can create a positive future for yourself.
In our sessions, we guide your mind into a state of deeply focused relaxation—very similar to the quiet state you experience as you drift off to sleep. In this receptive state:
- Your physical nervous system calms down: Giving your body a genuine experience of safety so physical symptoms (tight chest, shallow breathing, churning stomach etc.) can soften.
- Stress triggers fade: Helping your subconscious recognise that former stress triggers are no longer immediate threats.
- You gradually take control: Allowing you to create a more positive future for yourself.
Demystifying Hypnosis: What It’s Actually Like
Popular myths often picture hypnosis as a loss of control, instant change, or reliving past trauma. In reality, clinical hypnotherapy is completely collaborative:
You are always in control: I can’t make you do things that you don’t want to. I only help you achieve the future that you want to achieve. You can open your eyes or pause the session whenever you wish.
You don’t have to dig up the past: My approach to hypnotherapy is to help you have the future you want, which does not mean you have to talk about or remember past traumas.
Lasting change takes time: I cannot simply snap my fingers and make your change. Deeply embedded anxiety takes time to dissolve. I typically spend 5 to 10 sessions with each client before they reach the state of calmness that they want to achieve.
Trance is a comfortable, natural state: If you ever got lost in reading a book or watching a film, where you start to loose track of what else is going on around you, you will have already experienced trance. It is simply a relaxed and focused state of mind.
No guarantees, just honest support: While I am not allowed to provide any guarantees of success, I can offer my whole-hearted support to help you regain control.
Your Hypnotherapist

I understand how exhausting it is when anxiety feels like it’s calling the shots in your life. My goal is simple: to offer a quiet, safe, and entirely non-judgmental space where you can slow down, catch your breath, and learn how to feel calm again.
As a qualified clinical hypnotherapist based in Fleet, I use practical, evidence-informed techniques tailored specifically to your needs. I don’t believe in rigid formulas or one-size-fits-all approaches—we work together collaboratively, at a pace where you always feel safe, supported, and in control.
Whether you’re ready to book or just have a few questions about how this all works, I’m always happy to have a gentle, no-obligation conversation first.
